Skills & Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in export sales
  • Ability to preform market study and determine potential clients
  • Strong follow up and negotiation skills required
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Sales reporting and forecasting required
  • Ability to work as a team member, team leader or individually
  • Basic understanding of Quality Assurance Systems
  • Standard knowledge of export formalities & procedures
  • Preparation of proposals and standard business forms
  • Good knowledge of basic business software & email
  • Experience in arranging exhibitions preferred
  • International travel may be required


  • Identify and develop new export markets
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Receive, process and follow up customer inquiries
  • Submit samples & proposals to customers
  • Negotiate prices and selling terms with customers
  • Prepare annual sales plans and forecasts
  • Document and report sales data to related departments
  • Plan and participate in local & international sales exhibitions
  • Manage social media accounts
  • Perform self-audits and attend internal & external audits
  • Conduct in-house workshops for team members
  • Apply for certification as required for export to various markets
  • Motivate, lead and evaluate sales team members
